چکیده

Sometimes, we find decision situations in which it is difficult to express some preferences by means of concrete preference degrees. In this paper, we present a consensus model for group decision making problems in which the experts use linguistic interval fuzzy preference relations to represent their preferences. This model is based on two consensus criteria, a consensus measure and a proximity measure, and on the concept of coincidence among preferences. We compute both consensus criteria in the three representation levels of a preference relation and design an automatic feedback mechanism to guide experts in the consensus reaching process. 2012 Elsevier Ltd. A Consensus Model for Group Decision-Making Problems with Interval Fuzzy Preference Relations

Interval fuzzy preference relations can be useful to express decision makers' preferences in group decision-making problems. Usually, we apply a selection process and a consensus process to solve a group decision situation. In this paper, we present a consensus model for group decisionmaking problems with interval fuzzy preference relations. This model is based on two consensus criteria, a cons...

UNCERTAINTY DATA CREATING INTERVAL-VALUED FUZZY RELATION IN DECISION MAKING MODEL WITH GENERAL PREFERENCE STRUCTURE

The paper introduces a new approach to preference structure, where from a weak preference relation derive the following relations:strict preference, indifference and incomparability, which by aggregations and negations are created and examined. We decomposing a preference relation into a strict preference, anindifference, and an incomparability relation. This approach allows one to quantify diff...

A Multi-Criteria Analysis Model under an Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Environment with an Application to Production Project Decision Problems

Using Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) to solve complicated decisions often includes uncertainty, which could be tackled by utilizing the fuzzy sets theory. Type-2 fuzzy sets consider more uncertainty than type-1 fuzzy sets. These fuzzy sets provide more degrees of freedom to illustrate the uncertainty and fuzziness in real-world production projects. In this paper, a new multi-criteria ana...

A Consensus Model for Group Decision Making with Incomplete Unbalanced Fuzzy Linguistic Preference Relations

We present a consensus model for group decision making with unbalanced fuzzy linguistic preference relations, i.e., assuming that the preferences are assessed on linguistic term sets whose terms are not symmetrically and uniformly distributed. This consensus model can manage incomplete information situations, that is, situations where the experts do not give all the preference values that they ...

Multiple attribute group decision making with linguistic variables and complete unknown weight information

Interval type-2 fuzzy sets, each of which is characterized by the footprint of uncertainty, are a very useful means to depict the linguistic information in the process of decision making. In this article, we investigate the group decision making problems in which all the linguistic information provided by the decision makers is expressed as interval type-2 fuzzy decision matrices where each of ...
